Autofusion has developed other technologies to support our Configurators, Lead Programs, and the online presence of dealers. We have two state-of-the-art inventory matching products. One is Exact Search, which will take the vehicle configured and match it with the closest vehicle in the inventory of a local dealer.

The other is our new Smart Search, which can work with or without the Configuration Technology, and which learns during the customer’s research process what type of vehicle the site visitor is most interested in. This system allows the consumer to see a list of vehicles that closely match what they asked for, and then allows them to select those vehicles that most closely match what they want. It allows the consumer to repeat searches, and each time the Smart Search learns more about what is alike about the vehicles the customer has selected and prioritizes those factors that the consumer is valuing most highly for their future searches.

The additional searches can remain in the original make selected, or can show similar vehicles in different makes, all while being restricted to only the makes the dealer sells. The product can include the entire company database, then be available as a platform database, and then become a database for each store.

Autofusion has also developed AutoMine, a data-mining tool that allows a dealer, dealer group, manufacturer, ad agencies, or others to data-mine our data on all vehicles configured. This can be restricted to the configurations done on the Dealer Group’s sites, or to a geographical area. It can be sorted and filtered by almost any factor. A dealer can use it to project their customers’ future buying patterns. Early testing indicates we can project likely preferences for buyers 60 to 90 days in advance.
